Baggage Compartment


The area behind the rear seats will contain the linear actuator for the flaps and a tunnel for the elevator
push rod and the cables for the rudder cable.  The boxed area in the center shows the cover for those.
the rear bulkhead shown in this photo consists of two parts, the lower panel is a single piece of the 1/4 inch
glass honeycomb panel.  It will be held in place by four 1/4 turn screws and the shelf shown.  The shelf
is made with a high front panel to keep any contents from being thrown forward. It bolts down to side
mounts.  
A third piece will be used to block the area between the shelf and the top of the fuselage.  All those moving
blankets I bought for my move from Houston to Dallas come in handy for keeping the dust and dirt
off the project while in the hangar.
