Aligning and leveling Horizontal Stabilizer and Vertical Spar

The alignment process for the horizontal stabilizer requires the line of the stabilizer to be level with the fuselage water line.  The center rib of the horizontal stabilizer is positioned in the same position as used during construction of the stabilizer.  The level line can then be obtained from the lower edge of the rib.

	A three inch PVC drainage pipe makes an excellent mold for a cuved layup.  Covered with tape prior to the layup, the fiberglass will pop right off.
	The curved fiberglass has been cut and fit over the flaps torque tube.  Tabs are shown in place for easy removal.
